My work centres around the body and its many facets.
Within the context of writing, performance, painting or sculpture alike; what resonates with and within the sensorial universe of the body is the landscape in which I draw my subject matter from. Borrowing systems, ideas and framework from linguistics, philosophy, somatic practices and physics.
The work lies in conversation between, and within, the intersection of three ramifications of the body: The thinking body, The emotional body and The physical body.
It is in dialogue with these that the content begins functioning as a visual language, and therefore also can be deconstructed, reimagined, destroyed or healed.
